International Medical Alliance of Tennessee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health care and nutritional support to under served populations.
We work in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, and disaster stricken areas of the United States.
Our volunteers and donors have brought healing and hope to more than 130,000 people. International Medical Alliance of Tennessee is a highly respected nonprofit organization, and is headquartered in Knoxville Tennessee.
IMA has been bringing Medical Mission Teams to underserved and impoverished regions of the world since 2000. Because need is not restricted by geographical boundaries, IMA has offered services in many areas of the world.
IMA's work in Kenya includes medical, dental, and eye clinics as well as the first Mass Drug Administration program in Western Kenya to Prevent Lymphatic Filariasis.
In Haiti we are continuing our work with a permanent clinic in Port-Au-Prince, medical clinics in the Haitian Batey Villages and working in 23 orphanages.
In the Dominican Republic we now have a permanent clinic and physician on staff to provide health care for the villages along the border with Haiti.
IMA also stands ready to respond again to the medical needs created by natural disaster in the United States.
